About Us

Our Story:

Our mom, Joni, had quite a glamorous presence. She was a New Yorker, as she would proudly declare. She married young and was a mother through her 20’s, having kids one after another in rapid fire (4 kids in 5 years). That kept her busy for quite a while. She got into exotic fish and we had 60 aquariums lining the playroom walls with all different varieties. Then it was dogs - poodles mainly, also Afghan hounds (you don’t see those around very often). She worked at the animal shelter to help pets find safe and loving homes.

Mom had a unique flair for dressing up - clothes, jewelry, hair adornments - even for everyday get togethers. She really had pizazz! She loved shopping for hidden treasures and buying things online to beautify the world, way before it became the way things are done. She was creative, loving, passionate about life, and could talk with anyone about anything anytime. She cared, she listened, she lived life fully. She was truly a jewel, shining bright in our hearts. We dedicate this online store to you mom. Thanks for all the good stuff, and the everlasting inspiration. You were a Bright Starr in your own life and in everyone’s around you too.
